Chickadees & Nuthatches

The Chestnut-backed Chickadee lives in the area full-time. They are a feisty and vocal little bird and are very agile fliers.

The Red-breasted Nuthatch can live in the area full-time but you are more likely to see them in spring and summer.

The Brown Creeper can also be found full-time or seasonally depending on the area and weather. They hide right in the bark of trees that is coloured similarly to them.

The Bushtit is a year-round small bird not much bigger than a hummingbird. They are very vocal and make a lot of noise for such a tiny bird.
